Great News - this week we were notified that we received the FAI Club Mark accreditation. This is the quality assurance validation programme that's awarded to clubs that meet best practice standards in terms of administration, child welfare, inclusion, volunteer recruitment, communication, continuous development and other areas that are expected of well run voluntary sport clubs.
There is a substantial amount of work that goes into achieving and indeed maintaining these standards. All club members and volunteers have a role to play. The programme to deliver accreditation was led by Donagh O'Shaughnessy with a massive amount of input from our Child Welfare Officer Mike Beddows,
We might not have been lifting silverware on the pitch this covid season, but we are certainly competing with the best clubs in the land off the field of play. Better days ahead.
