This Monday Night, 4th May, join us on Zoom when we will chat to one of Lough Derg FCs finest, Jack Brady. A Ballina native, Jack started his playing days with his mates on the under 10 team in Lough Derg, playing out of Benny's field and coached by some of our founding members - his Dad Enda Brady and the late Dermot Buckley being among the first wave of LDFC coaches.
Jack enjoyed many great schoolboy years at Lough Derg FC before his career took him to St Kevin's boys in Dublin. Jack earned international caps as a schoolboy and has since kicked on to become one of the League of Ireland's brightest prospects, where he has worn the no 1 Jersey for Shelbourne, Longford Town and Limerick FC, before this year enjoying a brilliant start to life in the League of Ireland Premier division with Shels, notching up a string of clean sheets before the season was interrupted.
The Zoom chat will cover many topics, such has his Lough Derg memories, his journey to being one of Ireland's top young goalkeepers, how he is keeping sharp at the moment and tips and advice for our young players. If you would like a specific topic discussed drop Donagh O'Shaughnessy a line on donoshaugh@gmail.com.
