Lots of great football action coming your way this week.
Centre Stage this weekend is the 4 big National Cup games involving Lough Derg FC sides. First up in Clarisford at 10:30 the u13s host Caherdavin from Limerick District League. Promises to be a cracker. That’s followed at 12:30 by the u15 squad in the 3rd round hosting Janesboro, also from the Limerick District. The Derg 15s have had some great tussles with Limerick sides over the years. A place in the 4th round awaits them if they can get the better of a quality Boro outfit. The girl’s sides make their debut in this season’s National Cups too. At 2pm the u18s host Killenaule / Moyglass also in Clarisford Park. Meanwhile the u14s girls travel to Ballinree Ballymackey to take on Ballymackey A in the u14 National Cup. And on the league front too, there is plenty of exciting action. 13Bs are up in Ballymackey for a 2pm game v Ballymackey B. 15B are away to Silvermines at 13:30 and also at 13:30 the u15C are down the road for a derby game versus our friends in Birdhill. And last but not least, the fastest growing and fastest improving squad in the club, the u12 Girls get a trip to Ballymackey where they take on Ballymackey in the u12 premier. Best of luck to all Derg sides flying the flag in the nationals and leagues this weekend. Give it your all and enjoy the game. ‘Hon Derg!
