In a closely matched and keenly contested game an Oisin Pepper cracker from distance 20 minutes into the 2nd half gave Lough Derg FC a hard earned win in this cup tie.
In a game with defences on top, chances were few and far between. While the whole Derg squad put in a tough shift Luke Noonan and Daniel Furey were among those that caught the eye. Thanks to Avenue Utd for hosting us and a fine spread of refreshments after the game.
