Big weekend for Lough Derg FC as the competitions get back into full swing. The even age groups boys SFAI National Cup kicks off this weekend and Clarisford Park will host a triple header as our boys teams welcome vistors from Limerick, Clare and Kerry.

First up at 11 a.m. the u12 boys will host Granagh Utd from Co Limerick. These lads wont be stangers to Clarisford Park, having previously visited us for a friendly and team building day in UL Activity centre.

Next up at 1 p.m the u14s will host Ennis Town. The Clare boys previously hosted Derg 15s in the National Cup last season and while Derg took the honours on a wet day in Lees Road Ennis, the Clare lads will be determined to turn the tables this year.

And at 3pm the Lough Derg 16s will host visitors from the Kingdom Killarney Athletic. Derg 16s played two Kerry teams in their run to the 4th round last year, overcoming Ballyhar but finding Camp Juniors too hot to handle.

Promises to be a great day of football at Clarisford Park. As is tradition when we host teams in the National Cup we would ask players parents and supporters to prepare some catering so that we can give our vistors a warm welcome off the field and great football on it.
